Show c e7 < > l s I SOMETHING SUPREMELY FUNNY I Barry and Fay in IrlsH Arisioc racy at the Theatre T lgbt I I The Cincinnati Enquirer had the following II fol-lowing flattering notice of Barry and Fay the wellknown Irish comedians when I they appeared in that city in the play I they present at the Theatre tonight I For a rollicking jolly play with sixty laughs in as many minutes Irish Aristocracy Aris-tocracy is the play you want to see this II week There was 1 large audience at the Grand Opera House List evening to greet the comedians Hugh Fay and Billy I Barry in William Carletons reconstructed reconstruct-ed Muldoons Picnic They are prime I favorites in this city and were given avery favories very generous reception Irish Aristocracy Aris-tocracy makes no pretensions to literary full of genuine hearty merit but it is as ful fun as an egg is full of meat There is nothing exaggerated in the droll humor of Barry and Fay They are representative representa-tive Irishmen to the life Since its last presentation here from a twoact comedy the play has boon lengthened to run I through three acts and it affords an evening even-ing of very enjoyable character entertainment entertain-ment A new character that of ORod ger Mulcahey just landed has been created and it is made quite a notable one The supporting company is one with which but little fault could be found Jessie Story is very lte cute as little Jennie Muldoon When Muldoon and Mulcahey put on the roller skates the audience laugh When they see the trick donkey Danger they laugh the more but the threehanded reel upon which the curtain cur-tain goes down calls forth a continuous roar The first two acts are laid in Mr Muldoons parlor and the last in the woods Michael Muldoon and Michael Mulcahey will have crowds of visitors this week |
