H. Rutledge, district for- Pavant Camp of the Daughters of the Pioneers, fittingly celebrated the anniversary of the organization Wednesday afternoon at the Second ward chapel when an appropriate program was given. Mrs. Niel McMillan and Mrs. Terry, officers of the county were of Richfield; organization, present and aided in making the anniversary celebration a huge success. A program of music readings and historical sketches, was given during the afternoon, and was as follows: Community, singing, congregation; sketch of the life of. the pioneers, Mrs. Ellen Humphrey; solo, Miss Ada Burgess, Miss Bell Webb, piano accompanist; Jane, Mrs. Carl. Okerlund; piano selection, Mrs. S. J. Ottley. Following the program a- tray luncheon was served by members of the local organization to forty guests.
