Mr. and Mrs. Ernel Jensen went to Salt Lake Thursday to attend funeral services for her sister, Mary W. Jones, 84, held in the Capitol Hill 1st Ward, Friday, November 7th. Mrs. Jones was Leahs only full sister and had lived in Salt Lake since her marriage, except for two years when she had been living with a daughter in Fairfield, California, where she died. They were raised in Mt. Pleasant. Ernel and Leah visited Mr. and Mrs. John R. Jensen and Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Jensen and came home Saturday night. They had visited with Mrs. Nola Larsen, who was released from the University Hospital Friday and is staying at her sons home, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Larsen, who live at 3503 So. 100 East, in Bountiful 84010. Simper rites held Funeral services were held November 8th for Esther June Simper,, 84, former Salina resident, who died November 5, 1975 in a Salt Lake nursing home of causes incident to age. She was born July 4, 1891 in Gooseberry, Utah, to Thomas William and Mary Merrick Simper. She was a retired saleslady and was a member of the L.D.S. Church.
