Wheat Loans to H Ayerage 98 Cents WASHINGTON, June 6 UJ! r The. agriculture department, formally for-mally announcing the 1941 wheat loan program under the 85 per cent parity loan law recently passed by; congress, said today the loans will average about 8 cents a bushel. All wheat ; growers who comply with their acreage allotments will be eligible for wheat loans. Farmers Farm-ers who plant more than their allotment will be eligible for loans up to 60 per cent of the, regular rate on wheat produced on their excess acreage. Style of music heard on Thurs day night's program ranged from light and gay English country dances to serious and dignified chorals. Represented among composers com-posers were Dowland, Bach, Pur-cell, Pur-cell, and Susate. Solo, trio and consort featured various members of the society. Highly favorable comments and expressions of interest in the old instruments and music were offered of-fered by members of the audience audi-ence who lingered after the con; cert.
