Party Enjoyed A program and banquet featured featur-ed the opening social of the season, for the Bonneville ward Relief society so-ciety members, a delightful affair af-fair of Tuesday afternoon at the waid hall. Mrs. Jessie Duke gave the scriptural reaeting, and remarks Were made by Andrew Jensen of the stake presidency. During the banquet, remarks were made by the slake board members. A "rainbow" decorative it lea was cleverly carried out v. ith lali flowers and candles. Family Home On Birthday The family uf Mrs. Mary Over-lade Over-lade celebrated her eighty-third birthday anniversary Tuesday evening eve-ning at her home. Thirty-five members ware present pres-ent to enjoy games and music, after which dainty refreshments were served. Beautiful gifts Were presented to the aged Provoan who also received flowers and cards, and a telegram from her son, Fills Overlade of Washington, Washing-ton, D. C, who was unable to be present. All day, Mrs. Overlade greeted old friends and neighbors who called at her home, and they vert; served refreshments. Of her nine children, seven living, as follows: Mrs. S. Williams, Mrs. Vera Brumiak, are W. and U. E. Overlade of Provo; A Overlade of Salt Bake City; Ellis Overlade of Washington K. J. D C, Elden Overlade of Los geles, and Lynn Overlade of An-Hel per. Elden Overlade was also unable un-able to be present. Closing remarks by Mrs. Hazel Clark, were followed by prayer by Mrs. Edna Taylor. Oct. 12, in Memorial hall in Springville. One hundred Provo and Springville Spring-ville couples make up the club roster.
