A cordial Invitation is extended to; all women interested in golf, whether they are members or not. Reservations should be made not later than Thursday night with Mrs Eroaddus, phone 1213R, or Mrs G. T. Braun, 6S5W. The annual award of trophies will be made and the evening will close with bridge. Comraderie Is Attractive Event Gleaner girls of the Third ward participated in their first comraderie com-raderie of the season, Tuesday evening in the ward Relief society hall. Thirty-eight girls participated partici-pated in the ceremony. The hall was decorated with fall flowers and lighted tapers. Units Join for Party The Val Hy'ric and Brigidier social units of the B. Y. U. are holding their first annual dancing danc-ing party at the Pioneer Memorial Memor-ial hall in Sowiette park, Friday evening. v The affair is to Be a Hallowe'en masquerade party with prizes being offered for the ugliest, silliest, silli-est, and most unique costumes. Gleaner Girls Hold Comraderie The home of Mr. and Mrs. Verne Nelson was the scene of a pleasant.' affair Tuesday evening, when the Second ward- Gleaners held their first comraderie of the season. v . The affair was in the form of a tea, and while the girls assembled, violin music was played oy tne Misses Ouella Allred and Mar garet Clayton. Prayer was offered by Mrs, La Von H. Jones, and welcome wel-come remarks by Mrs. Lawana J. Wright were followed by an original or-iginal .song by a double trio. The words were written by Miss Edith Ross, Gleaner teacher. Miss Olga Allred gave the scriptural scrip-tural reading, Mrs. Mary - Hafen, stake Gleaner leader, told the "Story of Ruth," and Binding the Sheaf was presented by Mrs. Agnes Hawkins, assisted by the Misses. Fay Thomas, Dorothy Hansen, Helen Harmon and Rosalind Rosa-lind Dahlquist, guardians. Twenty new girls were taken into the Gleaner class. Fifty young, women were present. pres-ent.
