Unless something is done, or we have so ins very heavy storms soon we will all be forced to bring side, It falls our lot this week to chronicle the death of one of Pay-sooldest residents, and one whom everybody loved and respected and who will be missed by a great unmber of friends, relatives and Mrs, Ann Wainer Pickering passed away Sunday afternoon about 3:30 oclock from cholera y morbuB, from which she had suffered oae week. She has been failing for some time past bat the ns br death-wa- s of cholera morbus. Mrs. Tickering was born Jan. 26. 1827 in Sheffield, England, and on May 16, ISIS she was married to George Pickering, with whom she remained in England seven years wheu they both embraced the Gospel of the Latter Day Saints and came to Utah, arriving in Salt Lake Valley Sept. 25, 1S55, They came directly to Faysou and here until their have reaided deaths, Mr. Pickering have been dead for sevsral years. There were ten children born to them, eight of whom are still living; two boys and six girls. There are alto thirty-nin- e grandchildren and seven great grandchildren who survive her. Mrs. Pickering was an earnest and faithful worker in all church affairs aud was always ready to assist wherever she could do good, never shirking a duty. She has always been a devout cbnrch member an 1 died a faithful Latter Day Saint.
