The course will cover the fundamentals of classical Latin, creating a foundation for further selfstudy, as well as presenting fresh insights into language and Roman history. Students will convene for six general class meetings on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 0 p.m. beginning September 14. The Instructor will meet with students in een ly scheduled sessions to review each unit. The student will determine when he or she iis prepared to progress to the next unit. one possessing “reasonable” intelligence, curiosity, a love of language and history, and a sense of humor is encouraged to enroll.
