Show Page 10 The OGDEN VALLEY NEWS Volume II, Issue II November 1999 SOUTH FORK SPORTING GOODS CELEBRATES GRAND OPENING On October 16, 1999, a Grand Opening was held for South Fork Sporting Goods. It was a great success with much to offer for everyone who turned out for the celebration. A drawing was held and prizes were given away to the following lucky winners: Browning Buckmark: Forrest Brown of Huntsville Carhartt Jacket: Jodi Christensen of Huntsville Leupold Binoculars: Scott Penrod of West Haven Abu Garcia Reel: Rob Frederickson of Huntsville Fenwick Rod: Ron Call of North Ogden Browning Coast: Joanne Bailey of Liberty Browning Sweatshirt: Kelly Waters of Layton The Sporting Goods store is one of many exciting changes that have taken place at Ace Hardware, formerly Coast to Coast Hardware. Owners Blair and Brandi Lierd felt that converting to Ace Hardware would provide customers with a greater selection of items, improved service and merchandise availability, and better prices. In addition to this conversion, a decision was made to expand the sporting goods department, which is now South Fork Sporting Goods, and to expand the livestock feed and tack department, which now has its own store with a much larger selection of Cache Commodities Feed and Weaver tack. Both stores also carry a large selection of clothing lines from Carhartt, Woolrich and Browning. South Fork Village invites you to come and see all of the exciting new additions that have taken place at South Fork Ace Hardware.
