Show Leamington Mrs. Leonard Dutson A special program was enjoyed last Sunday on Mothers' Day by all the mothers that were present. Each mother was presented with a potted plant and one was sent to all that were unable to attend. Elden Nielson is superintendent and Fay Fielding and Roll Hansen are councellors. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Quornberg spent Mothers' Day in Scipio with their parents. Mr. and Mrs. Claud McGuire of Salt Lake City came here last Friday Fri-day night to visit over the weekend week-end with their parents. Claud went back Sunday and Verla and little daughter, Claudia will visit here for a week. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Dutson and sons came last Saturday to visit with their parents here and at Lynndyl with Mr. and Mrs. Irvine Whatcott. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Dutson drove to Salt Lake Sunday morning morn-ing to spend Mothers' Day with their children, Arlene, Lois, and son, Dene, and families. A large Mothers' Day cake trimmed trim-med with pink roses and a beautiful beauti-ful fern in a white jar and fancy decorated white stand, was given to their mother. The day was spent up Emigration canyon and a lovely dinner was enjoyed by the family and parents. They returned home Monday night. Mrs. Ruth Jensen from Salt Lake City is here visiting with her father for a week. Mrs. Delia King from TOD Park spent Mothers' Day here visiting with her mother, Mrs. Louis Nielson. Niel-son. Mr. and Mrs. Mureal Nielson and daughter spent Sunday in, Payson visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. Alton Bigelow spent Mothers' Day visiting with her parents in Pleasant Grove. Mrs. Fay Fielding spent a three-week three-week vacation with her parents touring all through the eastern states. Her brother, Robert Walker, has been serving on a mission in Massachusetts. He returned home with them. Mr. and Mrs. Oral Anderson are very happy over the arrival of a 7 pound baby boy born to them on Mothers' Day, May 8, in the Delta hospital. Mother and baby are doing fine. Mrs. -Margaret Bradfield had some of her children home to spend Mothers' Day. |
