Show CENTERFIELD ITEMS Special Correspondence The Lincoln school had 198 pupils enrolled on Tuesday of this week. Considering the fact that many of the pupils are attending the schools at Gunnison, this is regarded as a splendid showing for the opening of the school term. The teaching corps at theLineoln are, Birney Farns- worth, principal; David Gottfersen, Aroah Enibley, Harriett -Farnsworth and Minerva Jensen. Miss Ruby Jensen is home for a short vacation from her college work at the U. of U. at Salt Lake. The Y. M. nd Y. L. M. I. A. annual an-nual 'convention for the South Sanpete San-pete stake will be held at Center-field Center-field next Sunday, September 14. Three sessions will be held, the first beginning at 10:30 in the morning. An afternoon meeting will be held at 2 o'clock and the convention will close with an evening session. The Primary association realized about $27 from the entertainment recently given. The affair was interesting in-teresting and all parts were well rendered. ren-dered. Charles C. Nielson spent several days in Salt Lake last week. He was taking treatment for the readjustment readjust-ment of his injured leg. |
