(Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) Pre (because I am under 10) B (being the type of cancer I have,) Leukemia when I was 3 years old. You may wonder how did I know I have cancer? Well, I seemed to be fine most of the time. When I would go camping up the canyon with my mom, dad and brother Bronsen my tummy would hurt, I would get these funny red spots on me and I just didn't feel like playing much at all. But when I was home I seem to be my usual playful self. So when we came home from camping the last time my mom took me to the doctor's office and they ran some tests on me and found the cancer in my blood. Man, was that a scary day for me, my family and everyone who knows and loves me. You might also wonder what the worst part of cancer is for a kid my age, well it might be that you can't go anywhere, or play with your friends. No one can come see you at first either. When you first get sick you can't be around any germs (that even included my brother at first). I really hate getting poked all the time by the nurses, and the ride to the city every month is the worse when you don't have energy to do a thing! Oh and who could forget that great Therapy West guy, Dallas Overly? Do you know he was so nice to me and even when some visits I cried the whole time he would still come back and see me for the next time. On the up side of dumb ol' cancer I am 4 years old now, I'm at the top of the hill and ready to be done being sick. : Elder Jace Anderson (right) is now serving in the Lacey area of the Tacoma, Washington Mission.
