Ranger Anderson reported In September 1923, that the Miller flat road was completed on the 18th of September, and that the Joes Valley farmers served a big chicken dinner to the road workers, forest officials and other invited guests. The dinner was served at the head of Straight canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Allen were rejoicing over the arrival of a new baby girl, born at their home in Orangeville in September 1923. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jensen moved from Orangeville to Ferron in September 1923. Cards were issued in September 1923, announcing the marriage of Lloyd Larson and Miss Charlotte Otterstrom, of Cleveland. The ceremony took place in 'the Salt Lake Temple.
