Reid, Orangevllle, Utah. o n X LAUNCH STATE MOVEMENT FOR CHILD SAFETY "DONT KILL A CHILD" Throughout the state, windshield stickers bearing th eabove slogan are being distributed as part of the educational movement sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary of Utah. Law enforcement officers and civ ic leaders heartily endorse the safe ty movement, pointing out the need for public cooperation in any activity for highway safety. Fifety units of the state depart ment of the Auxiliary are cooper ating in the educational movement, which has been adopted as one or the organization's major projects of the year. This movement is supplementary to the efforts of the county traffic squad and the state highway patrol to remove traffic hazards from the highways. In addition to attempting to make automobile drivers in all parts of the state, "safety conscious," the organization also is planning to con duct essay contests in all schools in the state, offering prizes Jor the best submitted. Distribution of 50,000 automobile windshield stickers to motorists of the state has already began.
