She' died suddenly this morning at Salt Lake City, where she has Been staying for some time. The remains will be brought home for interment. The deceased was a very highly respected young lady and hep demise will be mourned by many friends here. n The family have the sincere sympathy of all. Elijah Thomas and family will start tomorrow on their return to Arizona. Not finding any place that suits them better, they will return to the old homestead. When picked up she was lying flat on her face in an unconscious condition. Dr. Higgins was hastily summoned and did all he could for the auljerer. The blood flowed freely from hor left eye, ear, nose and mouth. She regained consciousness after being taken to the house sufficiently to recognize those about her, but was in fearful agony until death relieved her. The deceased was a young woman twenty years of age, and was beloved by all who knew her. Her lover, Joseph Hodges, remained at her bedside constantly daring her suffering. The sad occurrence has cast a gloom over the entire community. The funeral will likely take place to morrow, and the remains will be interred in the St. George cemetery.
