Most I Welling - Caldwell Representative Lee, Paul and Vera Liston have just returned from Spearfish, S. Dakota where they attended the homecoming for Black Hills State College. DURING THE special banquet held Oct. 20, Lee was honored as an inductee in the Athletic Hall He was one of the Rose Men" who meet every 10 years to honor the memory of Paul Rose, who died in 1936. Mr. Rose had a tremendous influence on the lives of all the athletes he coached while at BHSC. Mr. Liston feels fortunate to have been under his leadership. Not only did he teach athletics, but also the game of life. He was a friend as well as a teacher, and it was the students privilege to know him and be trained under him. In May of this year, she became an associate at Beus, Gilbert, Wake and Morrill in Phoenix. Ariz. Won Intermountain Junior College Basketball championship 1943. Head football coach at Davis High School, Kaysville, won state football championship 1949. Coached and served as an administrator for 30 years at Kaysville. Retired after 42 years in the teaching profession. DEANN graduated from Davis High School in 976 as a high honor student. She attended Utah State University to do her undergraduate work where she was a National Merit Scholar, a University Club Scholar and a member of the Phi Kappa Phi honor fraternity. She graduated Cum Laude in June, THIS IS a wonderful way to end our Golden Year said Vera. Lee and Vera celebrated 50 years of marriage this year, with family members. 1980. She then was accepted into the J . Reuben Clark Law School at Young University. Durgraduate work she was a member of the Moot Court National Team and the Moot Court Board of Advocates. She won the awards for "Best Brief and Best Oral-is- t in second year Moot Court Preliminary Competition.
