Show Davis County Clipper Thursday, Braves ready for Murray BY BEN DE VOE Clipper Today Sports Writer team in the last two seasons. Through their tutelage under the tight format under coach Wall they always have the most prepared team possible. Lloyd has been responsible for revamping the Brave offense that had grown stagnant in the seasons pnor to his arrival. With the tweaking of already implanted formations in the offense he has helped the Brave offense become a more balanced victorious in overtime. Murray is in a log jam with four other teams in region 5 for seeding in the playoffs. The game is more vital to them than it is to the Braves, who have already wrapped up the region BOUNTIFUL - The Bountiful Braves wrap up one of their most dominating seasons of all time as they travel to Murray for their Region 5 championship. Bountiful has a chance to be a good team, or be a team that is talked about in Brave locker rooms for the duration of the Wall tenure. Coach Wall began the decade with finale. It will be the first time they have ran the table for an undefeated season since the 1990 campaign that brought Larry Wall his first championship. This game will not come down to the way the Spartans play, it's all up to the Braves to dictate the outcome. The fact is, Murray can't beat the Braves, but they could come away with the upset if the Braves beat an undefeated state championship team and would love nothing more than to finish the millennium in the same fashion. A lot of the credit for this years rampage of Region 5 is the braintrust of offensive coordinator Brad Llov d, a stowaway from West fine coach Occie Evans, and A.DVrule book guru Mike Hall. This group has been in tact for two years, with Hall and Lloyd joining the themselves. The closest the Braves came to having a blemish on their dream season was a game in which the Braves handed over the ball to the West Panthers seven times, they came out attack. Evans has been a mainstay on the Wall staff for ages and has made great linemen out of former band leaders. He helped form a fine that produced three players last season. They hav e the talent, they have the coaches, all they need know is one more win to send them into the state tournament with a great angle on another state championship.
