December 10. for new Brownies lust entering Girl Scout woik in Brigham City. Prior to the investiture colors were called by Julie Sereika with all the young girls assuming the horseshoe formation for color ceremony. It was the first time this season the Brownies had called their own colors. Opening ceremonies included the presentation of colors followed by the girls singing, "America. Claudia Washburn, Julie Sereika, Lois Dickman and Barr bara Buland received their pins. They then made the magic pool and remained to receive the new Brownies as they were invested. As the girl was invested she peared into the mirror magic pool to see herself as a Brownie. A play, depicting the Brownie followed story, was presented by the singing of The Boats-man- . Lois and Lorraine Dickman pantomimed the song. Refreshments were served by Mrs. Henry Buland and Mrs. Don Nelson, troop committee Mrs. Edwin members, and Mrs. Bob and Washburn Ahrensbach, leader and assistant leader.
