Show DERN OSBORN DIES IN BEAVER Funeral services for John Dern Osborn will be conducted conduct-ed at 1 p. m. Saturday in the Beaver First . - Third Ward Chapel. Mr. Osborn died April 16 of natural causes in the Beaver Hospital, at the age of 59. He was born July 18, 1908, in Salt Lake, to Frank Lorin and Edith Slaughter Osborn. He married Aleen Grimshaw, March 25, 1929, in Milford. He held the office of priest in the LDS Church. He graduated from Milford High School. For 11 years he was manager of a Conoco service serv-ice station in Beaver; he had been employed as a butcher at Jefferson Mercantile Co., and also at the Murdock store in Milford. He also had worked at the Kiner Aircraft Co. in California. He had been chairman of the Civil Aeronautics Patrol, a member of the Volunteer Fire Department, and taught First Aid classes and was First Aid Merit Badge Counselor for the Boy Scouts. Surviving are his widow; three children, Robert D, of Springville; John D., Beaver, and Mrs. Melvin Melvin, Cedar City; A Tnn u riT : . 1 il Also the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Erma Cline and Mrs. Edythe Grimshaw, Milford; Lorin Osiborn, Salt Lake; Mrs. Aileen Conger, Las Vegas; Mrs. Myrtle Mills, Provo and Othello Lee, Panaca, Nev. Friends may call at the Southern Utah Mortuary in Beaver between 7 and 9 p. m. Friday, and prior to services Saturday. Interment will be" in Mountain Moun-tain View Cemetery, Beaver. |
