He had not lighted his lantern as the county law requires according to report re-port James Glllmanof Lindon going toward Pro vo,dld not see the wagon because a auto with bright lights was coming toward him. He ran into the rear end of the wagon and scattered parts of furniture, all over his car as well as ' the street. The horses became be-came frightened and ran away, Mr. Manning was thrown but and his left leg was broken between tha ankle ond knee. .The ' auto going north rushed Mr. Manning to the Lehl Hospital. Mr. Glllmaa was cut about the head and face from broken windshield wind-shield glass.
