The girls and officers took pot luck lunch and surprised her with a beautiful bouquet of rosthe evening es. They enjoyed and made Ann a very happy girl. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Kennard and Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Udy were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. James Miner in Salt Lake City, and Sunday. They Saturday went to Roosevelt to visit their sister, Mrs. Evan Howell and family. They returned home Monday. Pauline Davis has been in Brigham City and Ogden.for a week with her brother Don and family who are moving from Ogden to Brigham City. Mr. and Mrs. Myron Richards and children were in Salt Lake City, Monday. Mrs. Edna ward entertained her Primary Blazer boys and their mothers and the Primary Class Mother, Mrs. Josie Bourne ' Tuesday. They played games and enjoyed a lovely lunch which the boys served. Mr. and Mrs. Royce Hess and son Garth of Burley, Idaho and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hess of of Jerome, Idaho visited with their uncle, Henry Tubbs, Monday. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Kennard were in Salt Lake City, Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Udy and Mr. and Mrs. Verl Udy of Fielding, spent Tuesday in Ogden. Mrs. Grace Hales and Mrs. Glenna Hales of Tremonton were in Ogden Tuesday. Sunday School Faculty meeting was held Thursday night in the Relief Society room of the church. Mrs. Mary Beth Reese and Dessie Campbell of the Stake Board gave the lesson. The ladies of the Birthday Club met at the home of Lenore Silvester Wednesday, in honor of her birthday. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Kennard went to Preston, Idaho to take care oi tne cnuaren oi Mr. ana Mrs. Alf White while they are in Denver, Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Silvester and family went to Carey. Idaho Saturday to visit their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Justisen. Mrs. Virgil Richins and children of Ogden visited with Mrs. Richin's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Hales during the week-enThe Beta Phi Sorority of which Diane Bourne is a member was entertained by Mrs. J. Bracken Lee at the Governor's Mansion. After lunch Mrs. Lee told of the Inauguration. Thursday afternoon Marian Kirby, Ida Johnson, and Lola Christensen of Brigham, City visited with Myrle Udy. Mr. and Mrs. Deloss Jensen were in Ogden visiting Mrs. Delila Pearson and other relatives, during the week. Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Hadfield, Bishop and Mrs. Leland Capr ener, Mr. and Mrs. Russel , Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Burnett and Mr. and Mrs. Delos Udy attended a meeting of the Golden Council of Scouters in the Box Elder High School. Scouters and their wives of the 4 Box Elder Stakes Were present. Mr. and Mrs. Ira Ward and boys accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Art Ward went to Bear Lake ,one day this week. Mr and Mrs.. Glen Ward and Mr. and Mrs. Max Ward attended the graduation exercises at the L.D.S. Institute in Logan Sunday morning. Miss Barbra Ward was one of the graduates. of Hendersen Mrs. Lewis Pocatello, sister of Mrs. Edna Ward, visited Thursday afternoon with her. Their nephew, Chick Atkinson one of the coaches at the B.Y.U. also visited that afternoon. Mrs. Effie Welling and daughter ReNae were in Evanston a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Welling and sons. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Barlow of Tremonton were speakers in church Sunday night. Howard was also the speaker at fireside, which was held in the Relief Society room. Marlene Forsberg was hostess. Aarnn Canener of Salt Lake City, spent the week end with his sons and families the Leland Canoner; and Rav Capeners. Mr. and Mrs. Eail Hales returned from Pomona, California Sunday after a 12 day vocation with their son, Wayne Hales and daughter, Mrs. Glen Low. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Tubbs visited with Mr. Tubb's brother, Henry Tubbs and family Saturday. They then went to Malad to visit another brother. They took Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tubbs with them. It was a real pleasure for Henry as he is just recuperating from a serious illness.
