LUNCHEON AT CEMETERY Second Ward To Honor Louella Baker A missionary farewell honor- ing Louella Baker, who has been called to serve as a misa sionary in the Mission, will be held Sunday evening in the Tremonton Second ward hall at 6:30 p.m. Speakers at the farewell will be Jesse L. Roberts and President Clifton Kerr, the missionary and her mother. Louella is a daughter of Mrs. Fern B. Kunz. She has been employed at the Bear River State Bank. She will enter the mission home in Salt Lake City next Wednesday prior to leaving for her field of labor. Texas-Louisian- FAMILY TO HONOR R. A. CHRISTENSEN The family of Mr. R. A. Christensen Sr. are' entertaining in his honor prior to his leaving for the Swedish Mission. Open house will be held at his home at 143 North 2nd East, Tremonton, Utah, May 31, from 2 till 6 p.m. Mr. Christensen filled a mission in Sweden from 1901 to 1903. He also filled a short term mission in Canada in 1928 and 1929. He has spent ten years as a stake missionary in the Bear River Stake. He has lived in Bear River Valley all of his life and in Tremonton since 1912 where he and his family have held many responsible positions in the L. D. S. Church. Mr. and Mrs. Christensen will reach their 50th Wedding Anniversary, September 23, of this year. He enters the mission home June 17, and leaves Salt Lake City June 27.
