Show PG 16-Under Baseball Team Drops Doubleheader to AF by Dean Von Memmott In a 16-under division game for the Utah Baseball Academy Acad-emy League July 10, the Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove Vikings dropped both ends of a doubleheader to the American Fork Cavemen. American Fork won both games by scores of 14-1 and 11-0. Advanced to third base by a one-out, Jake Miles single in the top of the first of the opening open-ing game, Caveman Zach Haws scored on a steal. Viking pitcher pitch-er Gage Peacock held American Ameri-can Fork's lead to 1-0 until the top of the third when a Miles' one-double sparked a three-run stampede for the Cavemen. Even though the Vikings did get singles from Zach Hicken and Matt Larson during the first two innings, Pleasant Grove couldn't pick up run until the bottom of the third. On one out in the bottom of the third, Taylor Stika doubled in Hicken. That turned out to be the only run the Vikings could make in the doubleheader. dou-bleheader.
