Show "Around The Town" Back from thra week la tha J east and the Industrial Editors Convention in Boston, Veggy Gunderson is at her desk at South East Furniture. Is still enthusing . over the stage plays, "My Fair Lady" and "New Girl in Town," the lucky gal was fortunate to see while in New York. She had dinner at the Waldorf with top actors of the show, New Girl In Town, following the evening performance; per-formance; also relaxed in the comfort com-fort of Ruebans. Elaine Michelscn, professor of art at Westminster College, is touring the continent and studying art in Europe this summer. Also spending a delightful summer in Europe is Miss Sally Sorensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. Mor- gan Sorensen. Gala festivities, program are planned for the coronation of Days of '47 queen, Monday evening July 1. The affair will be held at the Utah State Capitol. Lamont Toronto, in the absence of Gov. Clyde, will crown the queen. Virginia Tanner's dancers will appear on the program. Mr. and Mrs. Carl H. Darny, Chevy-Chase, Maryland, are visiting vis-iting at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph A. Sheffield, en route to a vacation in the Hawaiian Islands. Mrs. Sheffield will entertain at a dinner at the Fort Douglas Club Thursday evening. Guests will be Mr. and Mrs. Quayle Q. Cannon Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Curtis P. Harding, Mr. and Mrs. L. Marcus Jensen. Mr. Sheffield Shef-field is deep-sea fishing off the Mexico coast. |
