Frank Parry of Springville has accepted a position as fireman on the San Pete Valley road. He is a brother of Sam Parry. The South "warders" say they will win the tug of war on the 4th, but the North "warders" expect to more than even matters in the races, The girls and boys who wish to enter in the races of the Fourth, must notify either Luther Tuttle, Jr., May Reid, Spencer Madsen or Christy Crawford. Miss Ida Ilougaard lias received a call from the Church to labor in the missionary field, and has already al-ready entered upon her labors in the city of Denver, Colorado. Elder Louis II. Ilougaard returned re-turned home Sunday from a two year's mission to Colorado and Nebraska. He is looking and feeling feel-ing well and has enjoyed his labors very much. Everybody will welcome wel-come Louie home. A reunion meeting of the people of the two Manti wards will be held in the Tabernacle at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, July 5th. All are invited. This being fast day, the blessing of children will be at-tended at-tended to as usual. Ed. Olson, the photographer, is borne again and ready to make your picture in the finest style. The cause of his absence was a visit to Springville to see his new baby girl. Mrs. Olson and the baby will be home in two or three weeks. |
