WASHINGTON, Jan. 7 An important conference regarding legislative questions pending beforo Congress was held at tho White House this aftornoon. In addition addi-tion to President Roosevelt, tho parties to tho conference were Speaker Cannon, Senators Allison, Iowa; Aldrlch, Rhode Island; Bpooner, Wisconsin and Piatt, Connecticut, and Representative Payno, New York; Dalsell.
