Show Police Court. 1 Jesse Buckner and John Wilkins were before Justice Noon for drunkenness drunken-ness y.'.-terday. They were fined $5.00 eac':i. Last night Lyman Robbins was arrested for intoxication. He left $6 00 for his appearance this morning. He failed to materialize and of course for-I-vited the amount. James II irper enriched the city treasury bv paying five dollars, for a spree. Arthur Dixon was before Justice Noon this morning on a charge of drunkenness. This young man lias been up on this same "charge a great many times, and Judge Noon has been ven-light in his punishments, preferring pre-ferring to lecture him a little and advise ad-vise him to let liquor alone, but he still persists in this pernicious habit I and in view 0f the facis His Honor j thought that u heavier penalty might l::c. e the desired effect. He accord- I iugly sentenced him to pay a fine of I 10 and five days' imprisonment. |
