Editor Phone 19 COUPLE HONORED ON ANNIVERSARY A family dinner on New Year's Day honored Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wells, who celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Dec. 31. Family members met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George F. Wells to pay tribute to their parents. Two sons and two daughters of the couple were present at the anniversary dinner. They are George F. Wells and Mrs. Luella Olson, of Vineyard; J- E. Wells, Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Jenine Wakefield, Huntington. Another son, John W. WeUs of Syracuse, New York, was unable to attend. Arrangements for a special program were made by Mrs. J. E. Wells. Many friends and relatives rela-tives called during the afternoon to extend greetings to Mr. and Mrs. Wells on this special occasion. occas-ion. Family Party Honors Missionary Family members gathered at the Alvin Rowley home Friday evening to welcome home their sister, Beatrice Rowley. Beatrice Beat-rice arrived home Wednesday morning after 22 months in the Eastern States mission. She labored la-bored in Cortland, New York, with mission headquarters in Philadelphia, Penn. Neal Newell Home From Mission Neal Newell was welcomed home by a number of friends and relatives who called at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Newell on Christmas day. Neal arrived home on Dec 21 after two years in the Eastern States mission field, with headquarters head-quarters in Philadelphia. He labored la-bored in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Mary-land, Virginia and West Virginia. Family members enjoyed the Christmas dinner at the Newell home and other friends called during the afternoon. Those present pres-ent were Arthella Newell, Charles Char-les Deering, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wall and baby, Mrs. Inez Boulter Boul-ter and two sons, Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel Davis and family, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Hone and family of Pleasant Grove, Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Carter and children of Tabona, Mr. and Mrs. Arthemus Newell and family, Tunney Day, Bob Wagner and Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Davis. Edward Donald and LuDean Anderson Durham are the parents par-ents of a girl, born December 29 at the Utah Valley Hospital. A baby girl was born Dec. 29 to Karl Lewis and Ilene Noyes Christensen. Joyce Farnsworth To Marry Dale Harding Mr. and Mrs. Ivan O. Farnsworth Farns-worth announce the engagement engage-ment of their daughter, Joyce, to Dale Harding. Dale is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Harding of Vineyard. Both the bride-elect and her fiance are graduates of the Lincoln Lin-coln high school and Sharon Seminary. Joyce is employed at the Geneva Steel plant and Dale is attending BYU. A definite date for the wedding wed-ding has not been named. Donna is employed at the Provo Bakery and Jerry is attending the BYU. A definite date for the wedding has not been set. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Woffinden had as their guests, their granddaughters grand-daughters from Los Angeles, California. They are Norma, Na oma and Jeri Anne Rowley. Miss Shirley Rowland was honored in Sunday School for a perfect record of attendance during dur-ing the past year.
