The youthful soldier, no longer a rookie, but a seasoned veteran of months at ihe front, returns to wrestle wres-tle with the problems of adjusting himself ir the humdrum existence of civilian life. However, he finds that poet-war conditions are not as devoid of action and excitement as he had thought. anl his fighting Mood, roused rous-ed by a household of rebellious servants, serv-ants, a rlva) for the hand of the young lady of his choice, an adopted father, and other things supply him with as much ex dement as did ever the treacherous Hun.
