The disqualification disqualifi-cation at one blow of a national champion cham-pion and a metropolitan titleholder is announced by the registration committee com-mittee of the American Amateur Athletic Ath-letic union. Tho two athletes thus barred from amateur competition are W. W. Barbour, national titleholder of the heavyweight div.sion In the amateur ama-teur boxing world, and J. J Garret-son, Garret-son, metropolitan champion. They disqualified themselves from further amnteur competition, the committee rules, by boxing on Monday night at an unsanctioned exhibition In Cooper's gymnasium here.
