Show PREDICTS LOWER PRICES IN THE EARLY FALL "Industrial conditions throughout the east, more particularly in the manufacturing line, are greatly improved im-proved and it will not be many months before business will again b3 normal," said L. Frank, proprietor of the Co-op. store at Gunnison. Mr. Frank has just returned from a six-wee-ks' trip to the eastern markets where he has been buying goods for, his Nephi and Gunnison stores. "Wholesale prices are still on the upper up-per level," said he, "but there will be relief before long. Many of the big manufacturing institutions have had their labor troubles adjusted and plans are now under way to start work and regain the time lost during dur-ing the many strikes and tie-ups caused by the labor agitators. It will take some time, though, as many of the big institutions have many hundreds hun-dreds of orders ahead. By early fall it is believed by the conservatives the high cost, of wearing apparel, as well as the food necessities,- will be much cheaper." |
