Mr. Mcintosh, hails frompthc famoir Rocky Ford countryj has raised cantcloupc cantc-loupc a'bout all his "life, and knows whereof he speaks. He is at present working with Mr. Roylancc of Provo, on the Cantcloupc question, the idea being' to get the industry well started on the Provo Bench and Maplcton Bench countries. McMicIntosh is highly delighted with conditions as he finds them here. Perhaps we should say prospects, for the industry indus-try is still in the prospect stage. Tha Utah county folk have a. great deal to learn about the business but we arc powerfully delighted to be able to state that the people in that part of the pasture are the kind who are willing to be told things. We welcome wel-come Mr. Mcintosh, take pleasure in introducing him to our readers, and hope our friends in Utah County will strive to keep him with them until they have learned nearly everything there is to learn about -growing Gante loupe |
