The line is in its second year of operation and is already paying a dividend, having I succeeded far beyond expectations. I It supplies water to 60 users in Dra- I per, 35 in Crescent and 65 in River ton, and is able to sell water for an irrigation scheme now being promoted pro-moted seven miles from the intake. In the district through which it runs it has made dry farming possible and furnishes an ample supply of clear, cold water for all purposes. The wat cr comes from Bear canyon cast o Draper and is as good for domes . purposes as any in the state. The entire line was built by a few farmers far-mers who were adViscd that it would be an. expensive proposition. The company has no debts and expects to pay a even higher dividend next year. Not one-fourth of the water is used after all interested are supplied, sup-plied, and there will be a greater demand de-mand Cor irrigation purposes next year. |
