He has the ' honor of being not only the retiring chief, but the only one that has served in that position. He has seen fire equipment and all CHIEF MIYA feels that he served the people of the community as best he could, and Mayor Thurgood acknowledged that he had certainly saved many people from having serious losses, as he responded so quickly to every call that he got.
