Could anyone ever again dare to say that our B.Y. high doesnt have school spirit? For years weve been classed as a divided school, one where student cooperation was a lost article. Well, that school spirit is found now, and roses go to the B.Y. student body, who are behind their school. The spirit weve witnessed this year at the Y has done much in leading our school on to the heights weve attained. Faculty and student officers have worked together in making all of our social functions fun and successful. With the school spirit weve helped push our Basketball team into the state tournament, and once there well push them on to the top. Weve cheered our football team into a ranking place, one theyve never had before. This has been achieved by a high school with all of the love for their school that any group of students ever had. Our band has helped, ambitious cheer leaders, an active student council, cooperative faculty, and determined teams, all of these have boosted our spirit until now we stand ready to fight for Y high. Each year editorials have ben printed, chastising the school because of their failure to support the school. We change our tone now, and praise the faculty, student officers, and the student body of 4748, who have united and made Y high the school that it should always be.
