Wildcats to meet . 1 -- Sports Editor 'BY High, the underdog in today's contest, will travel to Pleasant Grove to meet the Vikings which boast an impressive three-wis record. The Wildcats are one and three thus far in play. Game lime is 3 p.m. Pleasant Grove is sharing second place honors with Lehi in the .Northern Division of the Region. Rick, Brent share 'Player of the Week' n. one-los- Brent Orton and Hick Shurnway shared "player of the week honors for their outstanding perform, ances against Springville and Orem, respectively. Brent, a senior and left hair-bacfor the Wildcats, carried the ball 10 times against Springville. picking up 50 yards. This gave him an impressive d rushing average. He also received two passes from Quarterback Steve Lewis. Defensively, Brent tallied seven tackles and blocked an extra point attempted by the Devils. Rick, a junior lineman was voted by teammates to be the most outstanding player against Orem. He played brilliant defense throughout the contest and proved to be a contributing factor in holding the Tigers twice on the line. Halfback Fred Teichert was out half of the game with a concussion, but is reported in good condition this week.
