First Round Opens Thursday With Finals Saturday Night; Eleven Teams Compete Eleven high school wrestling teams will compete this week in a regional meet which will select the top men in twelve classes who will go in the state finals, it was announced this week by Sam Gordon, coach of the Box Elder team. All schools in regions one and two will take part except Logan. Included also will be' East and West High from Salt Lake City. All matches will be scheduled for Weber High at Ogden with preliminaries starting at 12:30 p.m. Thursday. Second rounds will be fought off at 7:30 p.m. Third round events will be matched for 1:30 p.m. Saturday to be followed by the regional championship matches at 7 p.m. ; Representing Box Elder at the regional meet will be a team of 12 boys including: Russell Suzuki, 98 pound class, has won two pins, two decisions, scored two draws during the season.
