The meeting was attended by 22 members and was conducted and presided over by Mrs. Jennie L. Jones, captain of the organization. Meeting commenced with the folgroup singing Billy Boy, lowed by the invocation by Mrs. Louie B. Andersen. The next song was Long, Long Ago," followed by the leading and approving of the minutes. Lesson for the evening ' was the autobiography of John by Mrs. Evelyn Stokes. A sketch of the life of Minnie Holmgren Jensen was written by Lucy T. Holton and read at the meeting by Mrs. Vera Earl. Following the sketch of Mrs. Jensens life, Captain Jones urged all members present to write their own sketches. Fifty-ningood cheer visits were reported followed by the closing song, Ode To the Pioneers. Lura Redd offered the benediction. A Valentine game was played during the social hour which followed and prizes went to Mrs. Laura Gilbert and Mrs. Artie Sessions. Miss Gourley is a student at Welter college in Ogden where she is active in social circles. There she is a member of Otyok-wsocial club and is a school cheer leader. She is a graduate of Box Elder high school, Mr. Thompson, before leaving for active duty in 1950, was also a student at Weber college where he was affiliated with Phoenix, mens social club. He, too, was a cheerleader at the Ogden college. After the January 25 nupitial date, which had previously been announced January 28 by error, Bruce will return to active duty at Camp Carson, accompanied by his bride.
