The double ring rites were performed by Bishop Ernest Hansen in the presence of members and close family friends of the young couple. The new bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.' Clarence Hess and her husband, the son of Mrs. Leona Mill:. The bridal couple exchanged rings before two tall candela-bra- s holding ta(ering, glittering candles and surroupded by large bouquets of late summer flowers. A reception later the same evening honored the couple at the Eighth ward amusement hall. In the receiving line were the parents of the bride, Mr. and Mk. Clarence Hess; the grooms parents. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Mills; the best man, Wendell Holmes, Jr.; the bride afid groom and the maid of honor, Joan Hess and bridesmaids, Pauline Jensen and Carol Jean Hultbard. The bride was pretty in a white sheer nylon gown fashioned with a drop shoulder I trimmed wirh a Bertha collar and full skirt. The skirt was inset with rose point lace which also trimmed the collar and the finger tip length veil which fell from a seed pearl crown tiara. Her bouquet was of red roses with detachable orchid corsage. The maid of honor and bridesmaids were gowned in pastel gowns and Miss Hess carried a nosegay with the bridesmaids wearing corsages of pastel shaded flowers.
