Eighty-thre- e dren were enrolled in the two-wee- k school and an average of 63 attended daily. The 1st annual St. Francis Parish Picnic was held last Sunday at Copperton Park. The affair was sponsored by the Mens Club of the Church under the supervision of Bill Chirstiansen, president. He was assisted by Ron Swim and Bon Sorensen. Around 34 families were present and participated in games, races and ball games. Drinks and watermelon were furnished. Sunday, Aug 23 is tre date set by the Kearns American Legion Post No. 132 for their childrens outing. The outing is for all children of American Legion Post and Auxiliary members, and their par- ents.
