D., bishop of the Salt Lake Cath olic diocese, addressed the graduates of the Notre Dame school at commencement exercises held Thursday of last week in the Notre Dame church. Diplomas were awarded by Bishop Kearney to 13 students. He was assisted in the ceremony by the Rev Joseph I. Gosselin of the Cathedral of the Madeleine, Salt Lake. The graduating class was presented by the Rev. William A. Ruel, superin tendent of the school. Music was furnished by the Notre Dame choir under the direction of the Rev. J. F, Claffey.
