Show early pioneer lady dies with the death of Pl phoneta ioneta jane wilson thursday monticello lost one of her outstanding pioneers mrs wilson did not often leave her home but many people vitiated her to share her store of entertaining knowledge iknou ledge I 1 of early days she was 74 years of ape age at the time of her death born in warrentown Warren town wisconsin she came to utah with her parents at the ase of 12 settling near beaver hot I 1 springs oprina s where she joined the L D S church and was maniece to N E wilson wilon in 1878 they came to moab in 1880 and later to monticello Montie ello she is survived by her 84 year old husband two sons elijah and roy wilson grandson henry hinkley mrs birs B B turner of mack colorado mrs nalia dalton moab mrs edna allen alien moab mrs A J 0 01 moab and mrs heber of monticello Montie ello all of whom were privileged to help care for theirs their mother in in her last illness funeral were held in the 1 L D S church at 11 am saturday with the following services singing by a quartette composed of arch and fletcher bronson mrs john redd radd and mrs frank redd lest ve v e for ga in 1 yo ir ration oration by bishop A U J I 1 redd f singing dinki ng beautiful isle of I 1 somewhere by quartette tate C E walton wat wa t the first speaker telling of mrs wilsons Wil sons faith as a latter day saint frank told of some inspiring visits ho be had made to the wilson bonie in days past violin i solo by T C evans followed by C a christensen who told of va many good deeds and words of counsel received from mrs wilson as a friend and neighbor 1 I B perkins spoke a few words of consolation to those who mourned the loss of then their loved orre one and also gave well words of praise for those t ho had been so faithful and uncomplaining in them the long years dofa uta e th quartette sang oh my father benediction was pronounced by fletcher bronson there were many beautiful ua f lowers flowers A large crowd followed the body to the cemetery demetei y where it was laid to rest |
