Tobe Mr. Brians office exact, hands out 4,471 checks each month, including payroll, building and operating costs. He makes sure all the districts bills are paid ... which a.erage over 500 er month. But this Is only one detail of his Immense responsibilities. As clerk-treasur- and er of Business Administration Mr. Brian holds the purse strings for the district, 'keeping tabs on all incoming and outgoing fundi, In his position as derkthe school district exeiutlve attends and keeps the minutes of the twice a month schixil Uiard meetings. At the same time, hes the districts resident-expe- on rt state matters, bonding school funds are distributed. Carefully preserving and all for the records storing school district Is -- another chore of Mr. Brians. Bound volumes of ledgers, financial reports and board meeting minutes hold the history of the Granite School District. Proof of an outstanding Job as ts the fact that Brian has lieen reappointed ln that post every two years school boards since by October 1945. I n hlstwentith year with the district, M r. Discussing one of the advantages of automation, Mr. Brian said employees 2 form s now take only three days to prepare as compared to 60 days before the machine age.
