If the revised bill passes the legislature, a second bill, detailing the boundary changes for the two school districts, must be passed to effect the change. Ralph Finlayson of Legal Services has sent letters to both school superintendents suggesting the newly revised bill may not meet constitutional constitu-tional standards. Utah law demands that the state only pass and put into effect bills of a general nature the revised boundary change bill requires submission of a very specific follow up bill in order for school boundaries to be changed. However, Moroni Jensen, who will sponsor the bill in the Senate, says he can push the revised bill through if he is still Senate President at the next legislative session. Another attempt will be made to solve these difficulties difficul-ties at the next meeting between the school boards and the Interim Sub Com-n Com-n .mitteev-pil. Park City's two librarians, Violet Terry and Marge Angeli, recently attended a conference in Cedar City, the main thrust of which was to determine the needs of a community library. "We felt the time was well spent there," said Mrs. Terry. "We're quite excited about the new ideas that were presented." Compared to other libraries represented at the conference, confer-ence, Mrs. Terry said, "Our town has just a little old fashioned library. We have three others in the schools, but people still come here looking for information." To keep our public library stocked with up-to-date material, ma-terial, Mrs. Terry said currently there is an interchangeable inter-changeable borrowing service ser-vice with Salt Lake City's public library. Mrs. Terry said childrens hours have been added recently to the library's schedule as has pint-size furniture for the young readers. The new hours will be Thursdays from noon until 4:00 p.m. Future improvements at the library may include a book drop for those who can't return their books during regular hours and the purchase pur-chase of new books with the $400 collected at last year's book sale. Mrs. Terry commented that she hoped the community would find the changes helpful, and invited everyone to make use of this valuable resource. " ; lm$ Wok ; h -j '-- v--1c 4 mm ' 9m NPl vim if !
