B Blakely register of the United States land office is sitting in Judgment on what promises to be one of the bitterest land contests In the Intermountain country Title to a one hundred and sixty acre homestead near Woodside in Emery c county Utah Is la being sought by different Interests claiming prior right but aside from the mere meT title to the land Is involved d the right of ot Preston Nutter a large cattle owner to pass his herds over ova the land which is on a direct line J between between be be- tween his winter and summer ranges While the land has been unclaimed ed for many years Improvements had been constructed thereon a av at considerable expense according to testimony adduced at the hearing bearing The contested land Is claimed by bT John Darroll protestant and also by Arthur R.
