Let stand while preparing the following: Mix together cheese and milk. Stir and cook over boiling water until cheese melts and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and stir in gelatin mixture gradually. Let stand. Mix together mayonnaise, vinegar and salt. Stir into gelatin mixture. Chill until mixture begins to thicken.
