Lehi was agreed uon as the encampment site at a meeting of the Sons and Daughters of the Pioneers and Indian War Veterans of the State of Utah at a meeting held at Spanish Fork, Wednesday, March 6. Richfield. Monroe and Fairview were all anxious for the encampment but the vote decided Lehi as the host city, as Lehi had not Wen honored with the encampment for ten years. The encampment will he held the first or second week in August but a definite date has not yet been set. Officials of the organization are planning a homecoming for Lehi in connection with the Blackhawk enThe encampment lasts campment. for one week each summer and committees are being formed to take care of the arrangements for the encampment here this year.
