The site selected is known as the Heber A. property and contains 1380 acres. It is situated on the Salt Lake County line between the mountains at the Point on the east, ad the Jordan River and D. & R. G. W. Railroad on the West. It is bounded by the Bluffdale road on the north and crosses into Utah County at the southeast corner. The site is said to contain all the requirements necessary for a modern prison unit with gravel beds, rock quarries, adequate water for irrigation and culinary needs, and fertile soil for farming. Lehi Lions Club and business men united with other Utah County towns in an effort to bring the prison to the Saratoga site and a large delegation met with the prison committee at Saratoga, Saturday, on a tour of the proposed Saratoga site.
