This delay is caused by the raise in assessed valuation as ordered by the State Tax Commission. Public hearings on the proposed raise are now being conducted by the tax commission at the City and County Luilding in Prov and will be complete! by October 8 . After the raise is entered on the tax rolls the County Auditor, Mr. E. Booth Sorenson, can then proceed to compute the taxes, and when his work is completed the tax rolls will the be turned over to the county treasurer. This means that Mr. Jensen, the treasurer cannot begin gettinr? out the tax notices until he receives the rolls from the county auditor, which will be a month or more latet than usual; therefore TJtoh County tax notices will in all probability n"t be mailed urutil the early part of November. fb Score by quarters: Lehi Pays..n from, j She was b rn in l ehi, April 4, 1021, and had lived with her parents in Salt Lake City for the past twelve ye:irs.
