YOUNG The 10 o'clock services which were held for Sister Josephine Young in the Lehi Second Ward, Wednesday were short but expressive. Friends and relatives of this dear soul met together to show their love and respect for her. Many sent flowers to express their sympathy. A group of cars left immediately after the services for Farview where more services were held and she was laid to rest. Those taking part on the funeral program in Lehi were: Mrs. T. F. Kirkham and Mr. Sadie Kittinger, sirfging a duet; a ladies quartet which gave the opening and closing numbers; talks given by Bishop S. I. Goodwin, G. S. Peterson and T. F. Kirkham and a solo by Mrs. Edith Evans. Mrs. Josephine Young, 84, died Saturday morning in a Provo hospital following several months illness. Mrs. Younjr was born in Salt Lake City, September 14. 1852, a daughter of Peter and Margaret Dredmore Van She moved from Salt Dokenburg. Lake City to Fairview, where she made her home for several years. Her husband, Peter Nostrom. died while she was living in Fairview. After his death she took up nursing. She also followed nursing in Salt Lake City. Later she moved to Fairfield and from there she came to 'Lehi 19 years ago, residing here since. She was married to Andrew Young in Salt Lake City 29 years ago. He died in 1924. Surviving are two daughters and a son, Mrs. Bert Stone, Murray; Mrs. Water Denver, Pleasant Grove, and John Nostrom of Fairview, and a number of grandchildren. ENGAGEMENT Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Gray of Ophir, former Lehi residents, announce the engagement of their daughter, Annie, to Sidney Hullinger. son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hullinger of Ophir.
